Quantum Pharmaceuticals attending the fourth annual Clinical Pharmacy Congress.

Quantum to showcase latest technological advances at Clinical Pharmacy Congress.

The Quantum Pharma team is heading off to London to attend the fourth annual Clinical Pharmacy Congress .

Held at London's ExCel between 24-25th April, the Clinical Pharmacy Congress is recognised as the sector's largest and most important event for UK clinical pharmacists, bringing together over 2,000 delegates and 120 exhibitors.

At the congress UL Medicines is inviting delegates to visit its stand (D20) for an exclusive preview of its new interactive website. When hospital pharmacists sign up to the site they will be able to instantly check the availability of an unlicensed medicine, saving them precious time when sourcing products. Existing customers will also be able to access their account day or night and generate instant quotes. The UL Medicines team will also be talking to delegates about its new ophthalmic specials service.

UL Medicines will be joined on stand by the Biodose team , showcasing the latest development in mHealth technology, Biodose Connect, a unique telemedicines service from the makers of the award-winning Biodose medicines delivery system. With medication non-adherence being one of the biggest challenges facing the NHS , Biodose Connect has been developed to support the NHS 'Connected Health' agenda to help clinical teams support patients to take their medicines as prescribed. Biodose Connect allows for the remote, live monitoring of patient and outpatient adherence, instantly alerting the patient, carer, clinician or pharmacist if medicines are not taken as prescribed.

Quantum Aseptic Services representatives will also be on the stand highlighting the latest technological advances in improving patient safety in the compounding of aseptic products. Quantum is the first aseptic manufacturer in the UK to offer precision dose control technology which is engineered to minimise risk of human error in the manufacture of aseptic products.

We are looking forward to seeing some familiar faces as well as new ones at this year's Clinical Pharmacy Congress. If you are attending join us on stand D20 and find out how our services to support connected healthcare could help your organisations provide a more seamless patient experience.
